I had 4 designs in issue 12 of Crochet 1-2-3. In my last post I provided the link for the free pattern to my Quick ‘n Simply Wooby.
Here are my other designs that were in this issue, but you’ll have to pick up a copy to get the pattern:-)
On that note, Crochet 1-2-3 and Knit 1-2-3 have become available at many more locations. I have found them not only at my local Walmart, but also at several of my local grocery stores. They are also available at other craft chains. So it shouldn’t be too hard to find a copy.

This is a design I did for Crochet 1-2-3 for their For the Cause feature in issue 5 about Project Linus:
Wanting to make a gift for someone who has a baby (it’s a boy!) on the way, and wanting to use one of my own designs, I chose this pattern because I’ve received a lot of positive feedback on this design in the relatively short time it’s been out and it’s a pretty quick design to stitch up. I started it on Saturday night and finished it on Sunday night –actually very early Monday morning.
I like to use colors that are a little less traditional when I make baby blankets. I used 1 skein each Red Heart Soft in #2515 Turquoise, #4601 Off White, #9623 Spearmint, and Red Heart Soft Baby Steps #9505 Aqua. I just worked 4 rows of the pattern in each color.
I really like how the colors worked together for the remake. I hope the recipient likes it as much as I do!
You can get the free pattern for this baby blanket from the Crochet 1-2-3 website HERE.
The latest issue of Crochet 1-2-3 magazine is out along with my Forty Winks Baby Blanket.
You can find Crochet 1-2-3 magazine at many Walmart stores, but it is now also available at many other craft chains.
Project Linus Baby Blanket
The latest issue of Crochet 1-2-3 officially goes on sale May 7th, and in this issue the “For the Cause” article is about Project Linus, a great program that provides warmth to children in need.

I haven’t had much to say lately because I’ve just been so busy. But meet Jasper, the newest member of our family! We are fostering him while his mom receives some long-term medical care. Jasper makes the 6th, yes 6th, member of our feline family. And it has been interesting. It’s only been a couple of weeks, progress has been made, but there’s more to go.
In crochet news, I just finished teaching a crochet class at my LYS for my Harvest Home Pillow, which you can find in the Winter 2012 Issue of Crochet! Magazine. I hope to share some photos of my students’ finished projects soon.
In a few weeks, I’ll be teaching a class for my popular design to date – the Bellflower Infinity Scarf.
I have several projects in works, including some for Love of Crochet and Willow Yarns.
Others are completed and coming out later this year and early 2014 in Love of Crochet, Herrschners, Crochet 1-2-3, and Crochet World.
Busy, Busy, Busy!
