Help Carrie Battle Breast Cancer

I haven’t shared this news with many of you yet, but I was recently diagnosed with Stage 2 Breast Cancer. It has all happened very fast. Back in November I was originally told it was Stage 0, non-invasive, only to learn just this week that it was actually Stage 2 invasive. I have undergone 3 surgeries since November, including a double-mastectomy just last week, and have yet one more surgery to undergo tomorrow. I will be starting chemotherapy in the near future, followed by radiation. I don’t know what my ability will be to work during this time and have limited time off and no disability insurance. My boyfriend started this GoFundMe campaign if anyone would like to help during this difficult time. Thank you for ANY AND ALL help, including your thoughts and prayers. XOXO

Holiday Ornaments Ripple Afghan

I just came across another crochet design of mine that I had nearly forgotten about.  Here is my Holiday Ornaments Ripple Afghan that I designed for Herrschners using their 2-ply afghan yarn.  This was designed as part of their Ripple of the Month series and they are now making it available as a kit, probably just for a limited time.
