I just came across another crochet design of mine that I had nearly forgotten about. Here is my Holiday Ornaments Ripple Afghan that I designed for Herrschners using their 2-ply afghan yarn. This was designed as part of their Ripple of the Month series and they are now making it available as a kit, probably just for a limited time.
The Quick-Stitch Infinity Scarf is a pattern that you can stitch up in a hurry. It works up easily and quickly and can be made in any worsted-weight yarn. It makes a great gift. Make up a few to have on hand for ready-made gifts. You can find my Quick-Stitch Infinity Scarf pattern on Ravelry and Amazon.
It’s been a long time since I’ve had a design published (life has taken me in other directions), but I have a pattern in the February 2017 issue of Crochet World. Check out my Acadia Throw. The original design was made with Universal Yarn Uptown Worsted yarn. I actually really enjoyed working with this yarn. You can check out the design on Ravelry, purchase the February 2017 issue of Crochet World wherever in your local craft store or online.
I made this gumball machine planter after seeing some pictures of some online. I had to search all over to find what I needed. I bought the glass rose bowls at the Dollar Store. I couldn’t find red plant pots, so ended up buying plain ones and painting them myself. The ones I saw online actually used oval glass stones, but I thought marbles would look more like gumballs — I had to buy those online. And then, of course, I had to go to hunt down the hens and chicks. It was a wild goose chase, but I am very happy with the finished product!
I just received my copy of Crochet One-Skein Wonders for Babies. I have two designs in the book. You can see my Bottle Cozies design on the front cover and I have also have a baby blanket design included in the book.
The book is available for purchase on the Storey Publishing website and also on Amazon.
It’s been a while since I’ve made a new design. I’ve been knitting more than crocheting lately, so this design is a knit one. I’m pretty happy with how it came out. It’s a pretty simple infinity scarf made from DK-weight yarn. I’m a slow knitter, so it took me forever to get it done!
The pattern is available on Ravelry or Craftsy. I hope you like it!
