The Post Office

I came across this blog post in my google search today and was immediately inspired to create!  This little post office in Rupert, Vermont is right on the edge of being closed.  The two things that help determine whether the post office should remain open are revenue and mail volume.  The owner, a fellow crafter, thought a fun way to increase the mail volume coming through her post office would be to ask people to send her handmade postcards.  As a Vermonter, I definitely wanted to help.  So today I worked on not just one, but 5 (Have I ever mentioned that I LOVE paper crafting?), postcards:

Check out the blog post on the Jane Davies Studios blog.  If you want to participate, you can mail your handmade postcard to:  Jane Davies, PO Box 45, Rupert, VT  05768.  Jane will post all postcards she receives on her blog and credit the person it came from. If she gets enough postcards, she’ll create a separate blog for them.

I hope you’ll send Jane a postcard! And share this post!
